QuickDocta is a mobile platform—founded by entrepreneur Patric Tchedjou—that helps users discover, locate, and connect with highly rated doctors, clinics, and pharmacies across Africa. Built for accessibility, it provides bilingual (English/French) content, interactive maps, and one-tap actions for calls and directions.
Access to trusted healthcare providers is fragmented across regions in Africa. QuickDocta set out to centralize provider data, offer real-time location discovery, and make contacting a doctor or pharmacy effortless—while supporting bilingual audiences and low-bandwidth conditions common in parts of the continent.
The app needed fast, reliable map performance with thousands of markers, consistent provider taxonomies across multiple countries and languages, and a publishing workflow that could push updates without developer involvement—all while remaining lightweight on budget devices.
1. Design an intuitive, culturally inclusive mobile UX with clear provider detail pages.
2. Implement a resilient .NET/C# microservices backend using the iDesign methodology.
3. Deliver low-latency search and advanced filtering backed by indexed SQL.
4. Integrate Google Maps SDK for accurate markers, clustering, and routing.
5. Enable bilingual (EN/FR) content via i18n strategies and CMS-driven updates.
Reduction in time-to-interactive on map screens (marker clustering & caching)
Faster provider search after indexing and API tuning
